Frequently Asked Questions
1. How should I prepare for my appointment?
Be sure to get a good night’s sleep, stay well-hydrated, and eat a light meal beforehand. Please arrive with clean skin, and avoid wearing heavy makeup on your brows or lips. It’s also helpful to have your phone charged in case you need it during your appointment. You’re welcome to bring headphones or earbuds if listening to music or a podcast helps you relax.
2. When should I not get permanent makeup?
You should not get permanent makeup if you are:
• Pregnant or nursing
• Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Sunburned on the area to be treated
• Pre- or post-surgery (without medical clearance)
• Currently healing from another facial procedure (like peels or laser)
• Have had Botox or fillers in the treatment area within the last 3 weeks
3. Does it hurt?
Most clients describe the discomfort as very minimal, often a 2–3 out of 10. A topical numbing cream is used to keep you as comfortable as possible, and a secondary numbing solution is applied throughout the procedure to further minimize discomfort.
4. How long does it take to heal?
Initial healing usually takes about 7–14 days, but full healing can take 4–6 weeks as the color settles and the skin regenerates. Aftercare is key to the best results!
5. How do I make an appointment?
Our appointments typically start with a consultation to discuss your goals, assess your natural features, and design the perfect shape and color to complement your face. I’ll answer any questions you have and make sure you feel completely comfortable before we begin. We currently offer appointments at two locations. Continue to booking
